Hi! I’m Money Sharma, and photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember—being a fourth-generation photographer, it almost feels like I was born with a camera in hand! Photography isn’t just my job; it’s my way of seeing the world, capturing not just moments but emotions and stories.

For me, photography is more than just capturing moments—it’s about freezing emotions, stories, and histories in a single frame. Each click of the shutter is a journey into the unknown, a new opportunity to explore the world and share it with others.

With over 20 years of experience, presently I am working as a photojournalist for Agence France-Presse (AFP), covering everything from breaking news to sports and feature stories. My career began in 2003 with the European Pressphoto Agency (EPA), and I’ve also worked with Business Today and DNA Newspaper, learning something new with every shot.

One of my most unforgettable experiences was covering the covid pandemic , where the energy of the crowd seemed to surge through my lens, making each frame more alive than the last. Whether it’s breaking news or a quiet human moment, I believe in the power of photography to not just inform but inspire, provoke thought, and sometimes even spark change.
