Covering COVID-19

Covering COVID-19 was one of the most challenging and emotional times of my life. One day, while driving home, I got calls from a friend and my sister, both asking why I was being abused and threatened on Twitter. When I checked, I saw hateful messages accusing me of bringing shame to the country for photographing funeral pyres. I was heartbroken, especially as I was also dealing with personal losses and risking my life daily to document the pandemic. However, with the strong support of my family and friends, I continued my work until things gradually returned to normal.

About Money Sharma

It won’t be an exaggeration to say that Photography runs in Money Sharma’s blood, because, Money is a fourth generation photographer in his family, and someone, who is born with that sense, timing and vision for photography. Ask him, what would you have become if not a photographer, he takes a while to even process this question, and the answer just doesn’t come out no matter what. And, ask him a question about photography, the answer comes out at top shutter-speed, correct aperture and perfect exposure.
